The National Federation of Fish Friers Fish and chips have been the nation’s favourite for over 150 years and for over 100 of those years (since 1913), the National Federation of Fish Friers has been the voice of the UK’s 10,500 or so fish and chip shops. We teach new entrants to the market how to cook tasty, good quality fish and chips. We promote best practices, staff training and qualifications, food hygiene, nutrition awareness, responsible sourcing from sustainable supplies and we fully support fish and chip shops that offer their customers high quality fish and chips.
